Salience Labs raises $125 million Series B for photonic AI networking

Salience Labs has raised $125 million in an oversubscribed Series B led by Bullhound Capital. AMD Ventures, Intel Capital, SBI Group, Hudson River Trading and British Business Bank participated, alongside existing investors Applied Ventures, Oxford Science Enterprises, Cambridge Innovation Capital and Silicon Catalyst Ventures. The Oxford-based company develops silicon-photonic optical circuit switches for connections between GPUs in AI data centres. Funding will support deployment, high-volume manufacturing, engineering and US expansion. The company recently demonstrated a 64-port all-optical photonic switch at ECOC 2026 and is developing 128-port and 256-port products. Its industry-first and performance claims remain company claims, not independent benchmarks.
