BigEndian receives ₹130 crore RDI support for an AI vision chip

TDB signed an agreement on 5 October to provide BigEndian Semiconductors ₹130 crore through optional convertible debt for Project VeerAI, according to PIB. The ₹260 crore project targets a camera-focused AI vision system-on-chip, initially for CCTV and surveillance. Its programme aims to move from TRL-5 to TRL-9 through development, validation and testing. The announcement is not evidence of a finished chip or independently measured performance.
