Scimplify raises $25 million for advanced materials and chemical process R&D
Scimplify has announced a $25 million all-equity strategic round led by Hitachi Ventures, with customers Henkel and Teknor Apex joining as new investors. Accel India, Bertelsmann India Investments, Omnivore and 3one4 Capital also participated. The Bengaluru startup develops chemical manufacturing processes in its R&D laboratories and transfers them to partner factories for commercial production. Reported projects include purification of semiconductor chemicals and recovery of tungsten from industrial scrap. Its proprietary Scinode platform coordinates production routes, facilities, quality and compliance, with scientists overseeing technology transfer. Funding will expand research, processing and manufacturing capacity, particularly in the US, and further develop Scinode. Total equity funding is company-reported at $80 million. This is the October 14 full-round announcement; July filings had already covered an earlier portion, not an additional separate $25 million raise. Technical project outcomes and operating scale are company-reported; the company has not confirmed a valuation.
