MIT Bengaluru launches quantum training hub with 25-qubit infrastructure

Manipal Institute of Technology, Bengaluru has launched Quantum-Hub@MAHE for quantum engineering, hardware experimentation and workforce training. The institutional release published October 14 describes a 25-qubit open-architecture dilution refrigeration system and a goal of training 100 quantum engineers by December 2026. Agreements with QuantrolOx, alongside Bluefors, Qblox and ConScience, support hardware experimentation, testing and skills development. The roadmap to 150-qubit proof-of-concept platforms and systems above 1,000 qubits is a future ambition, not installed capacity or demonstrated performance. Business Today calls the launch Wednesday; the institutional release says Tuesday. This story reports the launch without assigning a disputed event day and does not claim a benchmarked 25-qubit commercial computer.
