Article photo: Qilimanjaro via EU-StartupsBarcelona-based Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech has completed a €19.6 million first close of its Series A. Indra Group, through IndraMind, invested €10 million and Spain's Society for Technological Transformation (SETT) provided €9.6 million in renewed backing. The company builds full-stack quantum computers integrating superconducting fluxonium-based processors, control electronics, cryogenics and software. It says eight systems have been deployed, including three at the Barcelona Supercomputing Centre. The capital will support industrialisation, next-generation chips and manufacturing and deployment capacity. This is not the final close: completion is expected in Q4 2026, with Avançsa and other existing investors expected to participate later. Deployment counts and technical advantages are company-reported.
