OXG Space raises ₹17 crore for satellite connectivity and in-orbit computing

OXG Space has raised ₹17 crore in a funding round led by Aum Ventures through India Innovation Fund II, with participation from Skyroot co-founders Pawan Kumar Chandana and Bharath Daka and Cosmoserve founder Dr Chiran Phanindra. The Bengaluru startup, founded by former ISRO engineers Akash Shetty and Sanjay Gorur, is building an orbital network combining satellite connectivity and onboard computing for Earth-observation data. The funding will support Mission Synapse, a 12-month in-orbit demonstration programme covering a Ka-band phased-array antenna, a deployable mesh reflector and a solar array. An initial 1 Gbps-class link and near-real-time data delivery are targets, not independently verified operational performance. The source does not name the round stage.

Founders: Akash Shetty (Co-founder & CEO); Sanjay Gorur (Co-founder & CTO).
