Vertiv reports 30 MW direct-to-chip cooling deployment in Navi Mumbai
Vertiv says it has completed a direct-to-chip high-density liquid-cooling deployment at CapitaLand India Trust's CLDC Mumbai 01 data centre in Airoli, Navi Mumbai. Its secondary-fluid-network system is intended to support 30 MW of AI workloads for a hyperscale customer. ExpressComputer reports the company describes it as India's first such high-density deployment; that first-in-country claim has not been independently established. The closed-loop system carries coolant from facility infrastructure towards chip-level heat sources. Vertiv describes customised technology-loop skids, contamination-control procedures during installation, fluid-network balancing and Level 4 testing before go-live. These are deployment and commissioning details, not the announcement of a new cooling physics breakthrough. The checked reports do not establish that 30 MW of end-customer AI compute is already operating at full load, nor provide measured energy or water savings. The source-page image illustrates liquid-cooled data-centre infrastructure; its identity as the actual CLDC Mumbai 01 installation is not verified and it is labelled accordingly.
