TAIYI reports cumulative funding above RMB1 billion for neutral-atom quantum systems

TAIYI Quantum says cumulative financing has exceeded RMB1 billion, approximately $140 million, following its latest financing. This is the total raised since the company was founded in January 2026, not the disclosed size of a single round. The October 14 press release carried by The Quantum Insider does not name the latest-round investors or its stage. The company is developing ytterbium neutral-atom quantum systems with error correction, real-time control and hardware-software integration as long-term goals. It reports integrating an initial prototype within six months, feedback latency in the tens of microseconds and an open-source compiler called LUOSHU. These are company-reported milestones, not independently verified fault-tolerant computation, a demonstrated logical-qubit performance result or proven quantum advantage.
