DRDO reports a 21 km airship trial and high-altitude parachute jump

DRDO reported two ADRDE milestones on 6 October. An experimental lighter-than-air platform reached 21 km and remained around 20 km for more than 30 minutes before recovery. Separately, the Advanced High-Altitude Parachute completed a maiden live jump at 16,000 feet above sea level in Nyoma. These are distinct flight and parachute tests, not evidence of a continuously deployed surveillance airship.
