India reports 40 NSM supercomputers and 68 petaflops

An IANS report dated 4 October says the National Supercomputing Mission has deployed 40 supercomputers with 68 petaflops of combined capacity. Implemented by C-DAC and IISc, the mission supports research computing while developing domestic servers, networking, cooling and software. The report supplies the latest capacity figures; installed capacity alone does not establish utilisation or continuous availability of every system.
