01 / The fund

Engineering-led companies, patient capital

YourNest backs Indian founders building intellectual-property-led technology. Its current thesis includes AI, quantum computing, space technology, energy management, connected devices and robotics. Its Nurture Capital approach combines finance with technical advice, founder support and portfolio growth work. Earlier funds also backed software, fintech and tech-enabled businesses; those holdings are retained below rather than relabeled as frontier science.

The manager's published typical investment is $500K-$1.5M on its YourNest Capital home page. This is an indicative early-stage range, not a promise of an available cheque or a size limit for follow-ons. The older SOAR program's $250K-$1M range and the aggregate Velocity 2024 cohort investment are not used as current cheque terms.

The current home page lists Fund I at INR 83 crore, Fund II at INR 215 crore and Fund III at INR 504 crore. It lists the 2026 Continuum Fund I at INR 394 crore, while June 2026 close coverage reproduced on its news page reports INR 400 crore. These two published figures are not silently treated as identical. Continuum is a specialized secondaries and follow-on vehicle for mature holdings, not an open early-stage fund for every new applicant. A reported INR 1,500 crore Fund IV raise is a plan, not a completed close.

The October 2026 news page reports YourNest among 19 managers selected in the first RDI cohort. The INR 7,131 crore commitment is the cohort total, not YourNest's allocation. No specific YourNest allocation is asserted here.
