What Yali looks for

Companies building defensible technology and intellectual property from or for India. The team evaluates the engineering, commercial opportunity and path to scale, not only a market story.

Its maiden fund closed at INR 893 crore in July 2025, above the INR 500 crore target plus INR 310 crore greenshoe. The fund spans early-stage and late-stage investments; the current FAQ includes pre-seed, seed, Series A and late stage.

The $2M-$10M range is reported by Mint and Times of India in July 2025, not a current guaranteed offer. Late-stage allocations were described as $10M or more. The official site lists seven active companies and one exit as of November 2026.
