Connect Now01 / The fund
Unicorn India Ventures is an early-stage Indian technology investor led by Bhaskar Majumdar and Anil Joshi. Its newer funds focus on intellectual-property-led companies in semiconductors, space, defence, robotics, AI infrastructure and healthcare. Current October 2026 reporting gives typical cheques of INR 10-25 crore; February Fund III reporting gives an average INR 10-15 crore. These are distinct typical and average figures, not a guaranteed offer.
Fund III reached a reported final close of INR 1,200 crore in February 2026. The separate IITM Unicorn Frontier Fund I reached a first close of INR 450 crore in September against a target of INR 1,000 crore, with four first investments. IIT Madras Research Park and company announcements supersede the manager fund page that still shows zero investments in this vehicle.
The portfolio headline says 54, but its full grid contains 51 rows. We retain all 51, add InfiNano from the manager marquee and announcement, Piscium from manager-linked financing coverage, and four Frontier investments from primary announcements: 57 source-linked identities in total. This is a public current-and-historical investment universe, not 57 current holdings or a complete private fund register. Manager fund investment totals are not unique-company totals.
Some manager fund labels conflict across pages. Full exits explicitly disclosed on the manager fund page remain visible. Windo is counted once under Beacon.li; Kluisz and CTM Labs are treated as Nava rather than extra investments. Fund I being exited does not imply its companies have closed.
Regulatory record: a May 2026 SEBI settlement concerns a temporary May 2023 investment in a non-liquid savings mutual fund and its omission from a compliance report. The order records reallocation to a liquid scheme and a paid INR 25.5 lakh settlement; it is not presented as an ongoing enforcement action. SEBI order ↗
