Beyond rockets: space technology on Earth

Space Capital invests across infrastructure, distribution and applications. Infrastructure includes spacecraft and launch systems; distribution brings satellite signals and data to users; applications turn that information into products such as navigation, mapping, communications and climate tools.

The firm reports over $1B in assets under management across four institutional funds. Fund IV launched publicly on March 11, 2026. This is a fund launch, not a verified final close. The earlier $65M Fund III launch in April 2023 and $32M Fund II close in March 2022 are separate historical records.

A current first-cheque range is not verified on the official site. OpenVC shows $750K-$2M alongside an older third-fund/$70M profile; other directories give conflicting estimates. Those figures are not presented as current Fund IV terms.

All 65 unique companies linked from the current official portfolio. It mixes current and historical investments without a complete active/exited split. Twelve independently verified acquisition, IP-sale or public-listing notes are shown; these do not imply every other company is still private and active. Sector groups are DTT technology groupings, not the fund's own layer classifications.

Nine Fives logo
Nine Fives ↗

Nine Fives builds networked, driverless RF test equipment for teams building next-generation spacecraft, drones, and wireless hardware. It was founded by two SpaceX engineers who lived the problem: CEO Noah Levy built the radios and phased-array calibration systems on Falcon 9, Dragon, and Starship, and COO Andrew Kurtz spent nearly a decade delivering aerospace hardware at SpaceX and Boeing. Their attenuators, switches, and power meters install no drivers and work within seconds of being plugged in, controlled over USB-C or Power over Ethernet through a web UI, REST API, or SCPI. The result turns a rack of test gear into a single, version-controlled source of truth engineers actually want to use.

Holding source ↗
RogueBeam logo
RogueBeam ↗

RogueBeam builds vertically integrated phased-array systems, co-designing the RFIC, the antenna, and the system under one roof instead of stitching together generic off-the-shelf parts. It was founded by three of the engineers behind Starlink's user terminal and phased-array program: Kim Schulze (RF silicon), Ersin Yetisir (antenna), and Amir Agah (RFIC). By designing the chip and the aperture together for a specific mission, RogueBeam reaches a cost and performance envelope that only vertical integration makes possible, and sells that capability as deep co-development partnerships rather than a catalog of standard components.
