01 / The fund

Early backing for companies built in and from India

Inuka Capital is an operator-led venture investor founded by Gautam Shewakramani and Raj Sheth. It is sector agnostic, rather than a dedicated deep-tech fund. Its stated focus is companies being built in and from India, which may be incorporated elsewhere. The manager says it is comfortable investing before revenue, a finished product or incorporation, and prefers a technical co-founder.

The current official FAQ states typical cheques of INR2.5-7.5 crore and gives an approximate $250K-$750K range. These are the manager’s stated ranges, not a fresh currency conversion. Inuka prefers to lead, but can participate when a round is larger, has an existing lead, or exceeds $2M. Individual role labels below follow the official portfolio rather than assuming every investment was led by Inuka.

A manager post on its screening process describes a $10M pre-seed fund and a three-person team. This is a manager-reported description, not evidence of a new fund close or the amount of capital still available. An October 2026 SEC filing for Na Battery I, a series of Inuka Capital SPV, LP, is a separate vehicle disclosure. It is not used to claim a new main-fund close, an additional named portfolio company or a named LP.

The public portfolio is dated August 13, 2026 and says it includes investments the manager can discuss. It contains 23 entries, including two undisclosed stealth companies. This is a complete reproduction of that public list, not a claim that it covers every current investment. The founders’ earlier angel investments are kept separate and are not imported as Inuka holdings.

No sufficiently identified named LP commitment was verified. Allocator One’s Inuka profile describes a base of global operators but does not name them or explicitly identify its own commitment to Inuka.

Named LPs not verified

Public information gap

This does not mean the fund has no LPs. General partners, the manager’s own investment vehicles, portfolio co-investors, award organisers and earlier angel investments are not treated as LP evidence. Allocator One’s general LP programme terms alone do not prove a commitment to a particular fund.
