Industrial47 is a Bengaluru-based pre-seed platform founded by Rahul Seth. Its own site gives a typical cheque range of $500K-$1.5M and India as its geography, with national security, space and energy as its core focus. August 2026 first-close reporting describes INR 2-10 crore investments across 15-20 companies. These are separately sourced ranges, not a currency conversion or a guaranteed cheque.
The debut fund reported INR 85 crore at first close in August 2026, towards a INR 150 crore base target with a INR 50 crore greenshoe. Neither the INR 200 crore potential maximum nor the site’s $250M “follow on capital raised” figure is treated as capital closed by this fund. The latter refers to follow-on capital in the platform’s track record.
The site lists seven company relationships, including older individual angel investments. Rahul’s current personal experience explicitly labels Pixxel, Digantara, FamPay and Flam as angel investments predating the fund. Armory and Rekise are separately confirmed by company financing announcements. Parsec is separately marked as database-reported, not a primary-confirmed current portfolio holding. No total-return, ownership or exit inference is made from a logo.
