01 / The fund

Building essential industries

Eclipse backs companies changing manufacturing, supply chains, transportation, energy, healthcare infrastructure, defense and computing. Its operators help founders with factories, hardware, hiring, first customers and the practical work of turning a technical product into an industrial business.

In April 2026, Eclipse announced $720M for Fund VI and $591M for Early Growth Fund III, about $1.3B combined, bringing reported assets under management to approximately $10B. Early-stage and growth funds are separate vehicles, not one interchangeable pool.

A current first-cheque range is not publicly verified. A 2021 interview described $2M-$4M early-stage and up to $20M later-stage initial investments. Those historical figures are not current Fund VI terms, and newer directory estimates disagree.
