Arun Raghavan
Managing Partner
Arun is a co-founder and Managing Partner at Arali Ventures. He leads investments in enterprise technology across AI and Security.
LinkedIn profile ↗India / Direct investor

From early conviction to enterprise scale.
Pre-seed and seed investor in B2B technology, industrial AI, robotics, fintech infrastructure and healthcare.
Connect Now01 / The fund
Arali Ventures backs founders building business-to-business and enterprise technology. Its current FAQ covers enterprise AI, industrial AI, fintech infrastructure, healthcare, commerce and climate. The fund says it is comfortable investing before revenue or even product and usually prefers to lead or co-lead. The official typical investment range is $250,000-$1.5M, with reserves for follow-on investments.
The manager's timeline describes Fund II as INR270 crore ($35M). November 2024 final-close coverage reports INR266 crore, while the public SIDBI commitment table lists an INR300 crore target and INR50 crore sanction. These figures refer to different reporting contexts and should not be silently treated as one exact final corpus. The manager's registration page identifies Fund I as an angel fund and Fund II as a Category I venture-capital fund.
The current portfolio grid has 32 entries, including three manager-labelled complete exits and three inactive entries. This is not 32 active holdings or the whole historical universe: the timeline separately describes a 35-company ecosystem in 2025. Oivi and Wiz Freight are treated by the manager's filter as spanning both funds, even though their cards display one fund label. We preserve historical entries and visible caveats rather than guessing that an empty status badge means active.

Thirty-two entries in the current official grid, including exits and inactive investments. Status labels are attributed to the manager and do not necessarily mean the company has shut down. DTT sectors distinguish robotics and industrial vision from ordinary software AI. Rapture's haptic audio hardware and Oivi's medical screening remain in Others. Outvision's detailed profile describes eyewear commerce, while the grid says video intelligence; this conflict is disclosed on its card.

Develops small-molecule medicines for cardio-metabolic diseases such as diabetes and obesity. Its drug-discovery work aims to create treatments that can be easier to deliver and access than injectable therapies.

Measures and manages water use in industrial and commercial sites with connected sensors and analytics. The system helps identify leaks, track consumption and plan improvements across water networks.

Uses computer vision to turn industrial-camera footage into live safety and operations alerts. The software spots unsafe behaviour and process deviations instead of leaving footage to be reviewed only after an incident.
Holding source ↗
Builds visual intelligence and manipulation systems for industrial robotic arms. Its vision-guided robots handle objects they have not been specially programmed for, including unfamiliar parts in manufacturing.
Holding source ↗
Builds autonomous robots for moving materials around construction sites. Its systems navigate changing outdoor environments so repeated transport tasks need less manual driving.
Holding source ↗
Builds tractor-mounted equipment that uses cameras and AI to find weeds and lasers to destroy them while sparing crops. It aims to reduce dependence on herbicides and manual weeding.
Holding source ↗
Uses AI vision to inspect manufactured products and identify defects, dimensions, codes and surface problems. Cameras and software make quality checks more repeatable on production lines.
Holding source ↗
Builds mobile robots that work together to sort and consolidate parcels in warehouses. Swarm coordination lets the system scale by adding robots rather than rebuilding a fixed conveyor system.
Holding source ↗
Builds digital infrastructure for loans secured against shares and mutual funds. It connects portfolio discovery, collateral pledging, valuation and loan servicing so investors can borrow without selling their investments.
Holding source ↗

Holding source ↗

Holding source ↗
Provides infrastructure for digital lending, including loan origination, data gathering, underwriting and repayments. Lenders use the stack to assess risk and build customised lending products.

The detailed manager profile describes a business-to-business eyewear platform that digitised retailer workflows and supply. Its grid instead says video intelligence; the detailed eyewear account is also supported by earlier manager material, so the mismatch is disclosed.

Holding source ↗
Provides AI-assisted mobile, web and API testing. Teams describe workflows and run checks that identify software faults without maintaining every test step by hand.
Holding source ↗
Develops the Sonic Lamb headphones and haptic-audio technology. Haptics add physical vibration to sound so listeners can feel low-frequency audio as well as hear it; this is audio hardware, not a robot.
Holding source ↗
Connects banks, financial-technology companies and brands through personalised offers and rewards. It helps issuers target promotions during moments when customers are likely to buy.
Holding source ↗

Historical investment. Opens the manager holding source rather than an unrelated or unverified current service.
Holding source ↗

Publicly sanctioned commitment
SIDBI's public table lists Arali Ventures II with an INR300 crore target corpus and INR50 crore sanctioned amount. Sanction is not proof that the full amount has been drawn or that the target equals the final close. The registration number on Arali's own Fund II page links the scheme to its current manager details.
