Eka Robotics raises $150 million Series A to scale its vision-force-action robot model

Cambridge, Massachusetts startup Eka Robotics has raised a $150 million Series A at a $1.45 billion post-money valuation, TechCrunch reports, in a round led by Andreessen Horowitz and F-Prime. Seed leads Obvious Ventures and E14 Fund continued, joined by MFV Partners, Bison Ventures, Glasswing Ventures, Samsung Next and several Fortune 500 strategics. Founded in 2024 by MIT professor Pulkit Agrawal and former Google DeepMind researcher Tuomas Haarnoja, Eka trains a vision-force-action model with reinforcement learning in simulation for dexterous manipulation. The company says its robots pick a wide variety of objects outside the training distribution at about 1,500 operations per hour, roughly two and a half times the human baseline, with over 95 percent pick reliability. Eka is running pilots with industrial customers in pick-and-place and wire handling.
