Coherence Quantum raises €2.78 million to build cryogenic infrastructure for larger quantum computers
Coherence Quantum, a Finnish quantum hardware spinout from Aalto University's Quantum Computing and Devices group, has raised €2.78 million in seed funding led by Lifeline Ventures, with participation from Mårten Mickos, The Quantum Insider reports. The Espoo-based company is developing cryogenic signalling and control infrastructure for solid-state quantum processors: signal conditioning and higher-density interfaces intended to manage the wiring, heat and noise problems that grow as qubit counts increase. The funding will establish its Espoo laboratory, build first product prototypes and a manufacturing process, and support research and hiring.
