qBraid adds MIMIQ to test larger quantum circuits on classical computers
Official integration graphic: qBraid and QPerfect.QPerfect's MIMIQ emulator is now available through qBraid's managed API, letting developers test quantum circuits without setting up separate MIMIQ infrastructure. An emulator runs a mathematical model of a quantum circuit on ordinary computers, rather than using physical qubits. MIMIQ combines exact state-vector simulation with Matrix Product State (MPS) methods, which compress the quantum state when its entanglement structure permits. qBraid lists an exact state-vector device for up to 32 qubits and an MPS device for larger circuits. The companies say the latter can reach thousands of qubits and millions of gates under suitable conditions; that is not a promise of exact simulation for every circuit. Developers can test algorithms, noise and error correction before consuming time on quantum hardware. The integration was announced October 29; November 2 coverage repeats that release.

Technology details
Accessible through qBraid Runtime and its managed API, announced October 29.
Exact state-vector device: up to 32 qubits. MPS: compressed simulation of larger circuits when structure and entanglement allow.
Thousands of qubits and millions of gates are conditional company claims, not a universal exact-simulation limit.
