Beyond Vision raises over €28M to scale AI drones for defence and civilian markets
Lisbon drone maker Beyond Vision has completed a round of over €28 million, co-led by Índico Capital Partners and Lince Capital, with a follow-on from ActiveCap, a shareholder since 2024, EU-Startups reports. The company plans to scale industrial production, push AI and swarm capability, and expand abroad in defence and critical infrastructure. Founded in 2013 and led by CEO Dário Pedro, it makes dual-use unmanned aircraft and runs a cloud platform, beXStream, for remote drone control. It says it is a registered NATO supplier, now has 150 employees and beat its estimated 2025 revenue. It signed a €15 million US contract in 2025 to supply 300 emergency drones by 2028 and plans a €50 million US factory in 2027.
